One of my new year resolution is to post more drawings and art interests more often. I have now started my 11th Moleskines Sketchbook (Thanks to my sister for the sketchbook from a Christmas gift).
So yes more sketches and even some crafts coming around. (My other goal was to get on Etsy....eventually....once I have enough stuff to try and sell).

I seem to draw a lot of people with glasses and mustaches

the coat and buttons and scarf had lots of texture.

the hat and sweater was fun as well as the scarf.

Ok ok......finally. Here are some new pictures that some of you have seen already but are now up on the blog. I have been sketching, or at least trying to find some time to do so. I don't go through sketchbooks as fast as I used to, but I am still sketching! So here are some pen drawings of random people at local places in Westchester. Mainly for now at coffee places. It's great now that it's winter time because for me it's fun to draw different textures of fabrics...so when people are coming in from the cold all bundled up and wearing cool hats or scarves, it gives me a starting place to put my pen down on the paper (I hate pencil).
So these are all maybe 5 minute drawings (people move or leave so I have to be quick).

I would love to really fill up my Sketchbooks. I am almost done with my Sixth and trying to finish it before we move at the end of the month.

This one I did today at Starbucks. I think he noticed me drawing him though I was trying to look elsewhere.....
